New Motorbikes – The Honda CRF150F Model

The Honda CRF150F is one of Honda’s New Motorbikes, but not the newest. It is a racing dirt bike that was designed in 2006 for the 2007 year. It competes in the mini class mostly with eighty five CC two stroke bikes, however, it cannot compete in the eighty five CC Mod or stock classes. It can only race in the super mini class. In the 2008 models of this bike, and all other Honda racing bikes, this bike is a four stroke, as where before, some of the racing bikes where two strokes.

The 150R bike features a unicam four valve liquid cooled engine that produces high RPMs that is nice and light, a feature which most all of Honda’s bikes now have. With its fully adjustable Showa suspension and Dunlop tires, front and rear disc breaks, this is one of the best bikes Honda has ever made. These bikes come in two versions; the regular and the expert. The expert costs one hundred dollars more, but comes with features that are more tailored to taller riders. Features such as a taller seat height, larger wheel base, a higher ground clearance, increased tire size, a longer swing arm, and a larger rear sprocket for a heavier rider. All of these extra features only add an additional four pounds to the total weight of the bike.

This bike is very standard for off road performance. It comes with a five speed manual transmission. This bike is fairly fast and comes in only one color, red. This bike is one of the best off road dirt bikes that Honda makes. It is great for most beginners and experts alike. This is one of the most preferred bikes by most professional BMX racers that race in the super mini class. This bike is impressively powerful and can reach top speed in less than ten seconds.

Honda is considering making a newer model with a few features that some of its newer bikes have, such as it’s Honda Combined Break System. Also, more color choices should be available in the near future. Color options that most all of their other bikes have.
